Dronetag Scout Long Range Drone Detection
The Dronetag Scout is a stationary Remote ID receiver built for permanent, 24/7 airspace monitoring. Mounted on a pole or wall, it continuously detects and tracks compliant drones within its coverage area, delivering real-time identification, location, speed, altitude, and operator data. It's a rugged, scalable solution for critical infrastructure, airports, prisons, stadiums, and any site that needs reliable awareness of drone activity overhead.
It sees everything, everywhere, with total accuracy: unlimited simultaneous drone tracking and zero false positives.
Features
- Full-band detection: continuously scans all Bluetooth (4 Legacy and 5 Long Range) and Wi-Fi (Beacon and NAN) channels across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, so no compliant drone goes undetected.
- Unlimited tracking: multiple independent radio modules decode every nearby Remote ID signal in parallel, with no upper limit on how many drones can be tracked at once and zero false positives.
- Long-range coverage: detects drones up to 10 km with omnidirectional antennas and up to 25 km with directional antennas.
- Drone-agnostic: captures Broadcast/Direct Remote ID from DJI, Autel, Skydio, and any compliant aircraft, whether built-in or using an external module. Compliant with ASTM F3411, EN 4709-002, FAA, EASA, and MLIT standards.
- Modular and scalable: configure from a compact dual-antenna omni setup to a 360° multi-directional array, with expansion modules for ADS-B, ADS-L, and FLARM.
- Real-time data and integration: view live detections in the Dronetag App (Android, iOS, web) or feed raw data into your C-UAS/UTM system via API, MQTT, and webhooks, with geofencing alerts and exportable logs.
- Effortless deployment: single-cable PoE/PoE+ for power and data, an optional 4G module for wireless connectivity, and passive receive-only operation that creates no radio interference.
- Built to last: IP67-rated aluminum enclosure with internal heating and multi-GNSS positioning (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou) for reliable operation from -20°C to +50°C.

FAQ
What drones can the Scout detect?
The Scout is drone-agnostic and detects any aircraft broadcasting Remote ID under FAA, EASA, or MLIT standards, including DJI, Autel, and Skydio, whether they have built-in Remote ID or use an external module. It detects only Remote ID signals; a drone that does not broadcast Remote ID will not be detected.
How far can it detect drones?
Up to 10 km with omnidirectional antennas and up to 25 km with directional antennas. Actual range depends on the drone's transmitter power and the local RF environment; urban areas typically reduce range.
How is the Scout powered and connected?
A single Ethernet cable carries both power and data via PoE/PoE+. For sites without wired networking, an optional 4G module provides wireless cloud connectivity.
Can I integrate it with my own platform?
Yes. Detections can be visualized in the Dronetag App or sent directly to third-party C-UAS/UTM systems via API, MQTT, and webhooks.
What is the warranty period?
All products come with a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
