GPC DJI Avata 2 Case
The GPC DJI Avata 2 Case is a hard-shell, USA-made, MIL-spec carrying case built specifically for the full DJI Avata 2 Combo configuration. Water-jet precision-cut closed-cell foam holds the Avata 2 aircraft, DJI Goggles 3 (or Goggles Integra / Goggles 2), the Two-Way Charging Hub with three flight batteries plus the one installed in the aircraft, both the DJI RC 2 standard controller and the Motion Controller 3 (or Motion Controller 2), spare propellers, ND filters, and accessory cavities for cables and small items. The SKB military-spec shell with watertight seal, padlockable hardware, and a lifetime replacement guarantee keep an Avata 2 FPV kit organized and protected through years of operation.
USA-made hard case for the DJI Avata 2 Combo. Fits the aircraft, Goggles 3 / Integra / Goggles 2, charging hub with four batteries, both controllers, ND filters, and accessories in one MIL-spec shell.
Features
- Full DJI Avata 2 Combo in one case: aircraft, goggles, charging hub with four flight batteries, both controllers, spare props, ND filters, and accessory cavities
- Goggles compatibility across the FPV lineup: DJI Goggles 3, DJI Goggles Integra, or DJI Goggles 2 all seat in the dedicated goggle cavity
- Dual-controller storage for both the DJI RC 2 standard controller and the DJI Motion Controller 3 (or Motion Controller 2), so the operator can pack whichever flight mode the mission needs
- Two-Way Charging Hub seats in the case with three flight batteries loaded, plus space for the fourth battery installed in the Avata 2 — a full session's worth of power travels in one compartment
- SKB military-spec hard-shell case, made in the USA, with water-jet precision-cut closed-cell foam tooled specifically for the Avata 2 platform
- Padlock-ready: padlock holes are reinforced with stainless steel padlock protector clips, so the case can be secured against tampering in vehicles, hotels, or shared studios
- Watertight and dust tight construction (MIL-C-4150J), resistant to UV, solvents, corrosion, and fungus (MIL-STD-810F), and rated for impact protection (MIL-STD-810F)
- Ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C) automatically equalizes air pressure when traveling by air or crossing elevation changes
- Molded-in hinge and trigger-release latches engineered for daily open-close cycles
- Snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle for comfortable single-hand carry
- Optional accessory cavities for the GPC LensPen MicroPro and GPC Micro SD Card Holder (sold separately), plus two general-purpose accessory cavities
- Lifetime replacement guarantee from Go Professional Cases — the same case manufacturer that supplies hard cases for DJI's enterprise drone programs

Who this is for
- DJI Avata 2 pilots upgrading from the stock soft cases that ship with the Fly More Combo, which give limited protection and don't organize the full goggles-plus-controllers configuration
- FPV cinematographers carrying the complete Avata 2 kit between locations, where one watertight case with dedicated foam cavities is faster and safer than juggling separate bags
- Public-safety crews using the Avata 2 for indoor reconnaissance, hostage / barricade clearance, and tight-space inspection, where a hard case keeps the aircraft and goggles intact between deployments
- Training programs running the Avata 2 with mixed controller modes (standard RC 2 for camera-stable flight, Motion Controller for FPV training), where the case stores both controllers in matched cavities
- Travel pilots carrying the Avata 2 kit by air or vehicle, where impact, pressure changes, and weather can damage gear in a softer case
- Anyone who wants a USA-made hard case with a lifetime replacement guarantee from a manufacturer specifically supplying DJI's enterprise market
What's included
- 1 × GPC DJI Avata 2 Case (hard shell + custom Avata 2 foam insert)
Please note: The aircraft, goggles, controllers, batteries, charging hub, ND filters, and other accessories are sold separately. The GPC LensPen MicroPro and GPC Micro SD Card Holder are also sold separately — the case has cavities pre-cut for them, but the accessories themselves are not included. Padlocks for the case's lockable holes are sold separately.
FAQ
Does it fit the original DJI Avata (first generation, 2022)?
No. This case is tooled specifically for the DJI Avata 2 (second-generation Avata, released 2024). The original Avata has a different airframe shape and a different battery, and won't fit the Avata 2 foam cavities cleanly. For the original Avata, GPC sells a separate "DJI Avata Case" — that's the correct product for first-generation Avata kits.
Which goggles does it fit?
The case is designed to fit the DJI Goggles 3, DJI Goggles Integra, or DJI Goggles 2 — whichever goggles came with your Avata 2 kit. The goggles cavity is sized to accommodate any of the three, so operators upgrading between goggle generations can keep the same case.
Does it fit both controllers?
Yes. The case has dedicated cavities for both the DJI RC 2 (the standard stick-and-screen controller for camera-stable flight) and the DJI Motion Controller 3 (or older Motion Controller 2) for FPV / motion-input flight. Pack both for training environments or single-pilot kits that switch between modes.
Can I check this on an airline?
The case shell is rated for the impact and environmental stresses of airline checked baggage. The DJI Avata 2 flight battery is approximately 31.7 Wh — well under the FAA / IATA 100 Wh threshold for spare lithium batteries in carry-on, which means spare batteries can travel with you in the cabin. Spare lithium batteries are not permitted in checked baggage; remove all batteries from the case if you check it, and carry them on. Verify rules with your specific airline before traveling.
How is this different from the stock DJI cases?
DJI's Fly More Combo ships with a soft zippered shoulder bag and a small Goggles case. The stock setup is lightweight and convenient for casual transport but offers minimal protection against impact, no watertight sealing, and limited organization for the full kit. The GPC case is significantly heavier and bulkier, but it survives drops, environmental exposure, and rough transport that would damage gear stored in the stock cases — and it carries everything in one organized unit.
Will the foam wear out?
The closed-cell foam is designed for repeated drone-in / drone-out cycles and holds its shape over years of use. If you damage the foam or your aircraft configuration changes, GPC offers replacement foam inserts as separate SKUs. The case shell itself is covered by a lifetime replacement guarantee for manufacturing defects.
Is the case lockable?
Yes. The padlock holes are reinforced with stainless steel padlock protector clips. The case accepts standard padlocks (sold separately). For programs that need TSA-compliant locks or specific security ratings, verify the padlock specifications against your organization's policy.
Where is it made?
Designed and built in Poway, California by Go Professional Cases — the same manufacturer that supplies hard cases for DJI's enterprise drone lineup used by public-safety, surveying, federal, and commercial operators. The shells are SKB military-spec, and the foam is water-jet cut in-house in the United States.
